A bustling club. Lights flash, people dance, men and women are hooking up everywhere - except for Megan. She's pretty, but she just doesn't draw attention like the other girls. Enter Jason. He drinks with her and ignores the noise around them, being her perfect man for one night, and longer. Everything is picture perfect - except that Jason is not who he says he is. He's driven completely by his ulterior motives, professional, slick, and cold... until he finds himself staying with Megan just a little too long. Now his moment of humanity has put both of their lives in jeopardy.

Absolution is a low-budget short shot in 2009. It has been submitted to festivals around the world and will be available for viewing through this site soon.

Cast

Tim Gamble (Jason) A junior at Northern Kentucky University as a Business Marketing major, Tim has worked from a range of on-stage acting, to film and commercial along with some modeling. Credits include a premier of Not Another High School Musical presented by the NKU Theatre department directed by Carrie-Ellen Zappa. Tim has also been featured in national commercials for cable network Versus presented by Blink Productions. Modeling credentials include The Model Factory, along with David M. Davis photography, both located in Cincinnati, OH. Tim's acting training comes from the NKU theatre department, private acting coach Carrie-Ellen Zappa of Cincinnati, OH and Bob Luke Studios of New York City. He is working on two films due out this year and beginning of 2010 both which are currently filming this summer.

Ronda McKenzie (Megan) Hailing from Deltona, FL, Ronda is a new, young actress appearing in her first film role with Absolution. Ronda is a freelance model, published award-winning creative writer and poet. She is also currently working as an actress and production designer for Spankin Eddy Productions through the Telecommunications Board of Northern Kentucky in Covington, KY. Ronda is also an active volunteer for the United States Army Reserve and is certified in Family Readiness and Special Events Coordinating.
